A page dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War has been launched on the Moscow Youth portal. The project is aimed at preserving the memory of the defenders of the Motherland, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"Here, children can share stories about their family's heroes, watch documentaries, test their knowledge and join patriotic actions," Natalia Sergunina said.

The project consists of several sections. In one of them, anyone can send stories about relatives and close people who participated in the Great Patriotic War. The stories can then be read on the portal.

Also on the page you can view a collection of documentaries shot by activists of the patriotic project "City of Heroes Moscow". The films tell about the exploits of scouts, defenders of the capital, heroes of besieged Leningrad and many others. A separate section contains significant dates, information about key events and Victory symbols.

You can also take an educational thematic test on the portal. It is divided into four topics: dates, events, personalities, and culture. The test participants who show the highest results will be awarded with diplomas and memorable prizes.

The website also provides information about upcoming patriotic events in the city dedicated to the Victory anniversary. Young people of the capital are invited to join commemorative events, historical dictation, guided tours of places of military glory and other events dedicated to May 9th.
