A car driver who escaped from the scene of an accident with a motorcycle was detained in the Lipetsk region.

In the Lipetsk region, the driver of a VAZ-2110 was detained, who hit a motorcyclist and fled the scene of the accident. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on the night of April 17 on the 16th km of the Terbuny–Borki–Pokrovskoye highway. The VAZ-2110 car collided with a motorcycle driven by a 20-year-old young man.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with various injuries, where doctors decided to hospitalize him. The driver of the "dozens" fled the scene, but was later apprehended. It turned out to be a 19-year-old guy.

The car itself burned to the ground, says GOROD48. But it happened as a result of an accident or arson has yet to be determined.

On April 12, a VAZ-2114 driven by a 21-year-old girl crashed into a light pole in Yelets, Lipetsk region. A 20-year-old passenger in the car suffered a spinal fracture, and the motorist herself was also injured. Another passenger, a 21-year-old girl, died on the spot.
