The German authorities have provided a new package of assistance to Ukraine, which includes 66 MRAP armored vehicles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on April 17 on the website of the Federal Government of Germany.

It is specified that this trench included 66 MRAP armored vehicles, four Diehl Defense vehicles, 27,000 155 mm artillery shells and 1,000 122 mm artillery shells. 8,000 rounds of ammunition for the Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled gun will also be transferred.

In addition, Germany has transferred 70 reconnaissance and 150 attack drones, several armored vehicles, as well as armored mine-clearing vehicles with spare parts and three Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery units.

At the same time, on April 16, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that the country's authorities would not make any donations to Ukraine in terms of military assistance, and Slovakia did not intend to participate in financial mechanisms for the purchase of weapons for Ukraine.
