An inspection was carried out in Kaliningrad after a media report that several fifth-grade students at school No. 48 became ill after allegedly eating in the school cafeteria. As the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Kaliningrad region reported on April 17, the condition of schoolchildren is not related to infection or canteen products.

The local Klops portal reported earlier in the day that six schoolchildren aged 11-12 had complained of feeling unwell. It was noted that the children turned pale, some began to tremble, and then they began to lose consciousness. An ambulance team was called to the educational institution, adds "Газета.Ru ".

The Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Kaliningrad region promptly checked the information that appeared in the media.

"The condition of children in one of the fifth grades of school No. 48 is not related to an infectious disease or to meals in the school cafeteria. The situation will remain under Management control," the department's Telegram channel says.

On March 7, a source from Izvestia reported poisoning schoolchildren from the Moscow suburb of Krasnoarmeysk with crab-flavored soy meat. It was clarified that the snack package did not have a label in Russian. In addition, the teacher who was in the classroom also had an allergic reaction.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region has opened a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet the requirements of life and health safety, resulting in mass poisoning (Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The lives of minors are not in danger.
