Lokomotiv beat Avangard in overtime and increased the lead in the KHL playoff series.

Lokomotiv Yaroslavl beat Avangard Omsk in overtime in the fourth match of the second round of the Gagarin Cup in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The match took place on Thursday, April 17, in Omsk and ended with a score of 2:1.

Alexander Yelesin (26th minute) and Alexander Radulov (68th minute) scored goals for Lokomotiv. Forward Reed Boucher scored for Omsk (21).

The score in the series to four wins was 3-1 in favor of Lokomotiv. The fifth match will take place on April 19 in Yaroslavl.
