In Samara, investigators opened a criminal case after children were infected with an intestinal infection in a kindergarten. This was announced on April 17 by the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Samara region.

It is specified that a publication was identified from the media, which reported that several children with signs of food poisoning were taken to the hospital from a kindergarten in Samara.

"A criminal case has been opened on this fact on the grounds of corpus delicti provided for in Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Performing work or providing services that do not meet safety requirements")," the Telegram channel says.

All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

On March 26, eight teenagers from the Voronezh Football Club were admitted to the Stavropol Infectious Diseases Hospital. They arrived at a children's football tournament in Stavropol, dedicated to the memory of Vladislav Dukhin. On the same day, the Investigative Committee for the Stavropol Territory opened a criminal case on the poisoning of children.
