The Russian electric car Atom will be serviced through a concierge service

Future owners of Russian Atom electric cars will be able to service their cars without coming to the service in person. When contacting customer support, a representative of the company will pick up the car and perform work at an authorized service center, after which he will return the electric car to the owner. This was reported to Izvestia on April 18 by the Kama company.

In 2025, Kama intends to open a specialized service center for pre-production Atoms. It will be used to develop maintenance technologies through disassembly and assembly of electric vehicles to prepare technical specialists of service partners for the start of sales.

It is planned that in 2026 the brand's service network will be present in more than 10 Russian cities, and by 2029 the geography will expand to 48 cities. Additionally, Kama is going to launch a special service vehicle designed to assist Atom owners on public roads. It will be equipped with equipment for diagnostics, electrical and mechanical repairs.

In addition, the company said that Atom's distribution will be carried out both in branded showrooms and through a concierge service. Before buying, customers will be able to test the car using a short-term subscription for a period of one week or more or carsharing.

The basic warranty for the electric vehicle and, in particular, for the paintwork, will be valid for five years or until 150 thousand km of mileage is reached (whichever comes first). The key components of the high-voltage system are protected by a warranty for a period of eight years or 160 thousand km. The same warranty applies to body parts (from through corrosion).

On January 28, Kama showed the first pre-production prototypes of the Atom electric car. These are full-fledged cars with working functionality, their design fully corresponds to the future production version. Atom's serial production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025, and electric cars will be produced at the Moskvich plant in Moscow.
