The Southern District Military Court sentenced a man to 14 years in prison for attempting to commit a terrorist act in the Kherson region. This was announced on April 17 by the court's press service.

"The verdict in the criminal case against Igor Vasilyevich Tsap, accused of committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 205, Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, was announced," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the defendant, while in the Kherson region, decided to commit a terrorist act against the Russian army, namely, to undermine military personnel and military equipment. After the planned operation, Capa was able to purchase a grenade and carry it to the refueling site for military equipment of the Russian army.

"Continuing to realize his criminal intent, on April 28, 2024, Zapata, being in the above-mentioned place, set up a tripwire with the help of this grenade and improvised means in order to initiate an explosion when a military tanker ran over it during the morning refueling of military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation... It is noted that the court sentenced him to imprisonment for a term of 14 years in a high-security penal colony with serving the first three years in prison, and he was fined 50,000 rubles.

On April 11, the Supreme Court of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) handed down a verdict in the criminal case against 39-year-old Anna Bazikalo, who was found guilty of espionage and illegal possession of explosives.
