Russia and Qatar have signed an important agreement to expand the investment platform in the amount of about €2 billion, with €1 billion on each side. This was announced on April 17 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"We just exchanged folders with a very important agreement. This is an agreement to expand our investment platform with Qatar in the amount of about €2 billion — €1 billion on each side. This will allow us to invest more and attract more Qatari investment money into various projects in Russia," Dmitriev said.
