The crew of the Mi-28NM helicopter hit the temporary deployment point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation. This was announced on April 17 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

They noted that before departure, the crew received the coordinates of the location of the temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian UAV crew in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces.

"The helicopter crew carried out a strike with a light multipurpose guided missile (LMUR) at the specified coordinates. According to the intelligence report, the target was hit," the ministry said.

It is specified that after the successful completion of the combat mission, the Mi-28NM crew returned to their home airfield.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the 90th Tank Division of the Center group of forces destroyed the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area. The ministry noted that the servicemen promptly deployed the launcher and fired a salvo, successfully hitting the targets.
