The Zapad group of troops destroyed an AFU tank in the Kharkiv region

Military personnel of the Zapad group of forces destroyed a T-64 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation publishes combat work footage on April 17.

The camouflaged tank was discovered by the military intelligence unit of the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Group. It is specified that the military equipment was located in a wooded area.

The military made the decision to carry out the strike after analyzing the intelligence received.

"The operator of the attack drone hit an armored vehicle with an accurate hit, provoking a fire in the combat vehicle," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Earlier that day, it was reported that the military of the reconnaissance unit of the 6th Army of the Zapad group of forces had eliminated the Polish Krab self-propelled artillery installation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. The target was hit with a Lancet barrage of ammunition.
