Jetour will show two G-series SUVs

Jetour will present two new SUVs named G700 and G900 at the Shanghai Auto Show, which starts on April 23. This is stated in the message of the Chinese manufacturer, which was received by Izvestia on April 17.

The G700 model is scheduled to enter global markets in the second half of 2025, with sales starting in the Middle East at the first stage. This car is equipped with a 2.0 petrol turbo engine combined with a 2DHT hybrid transmission. The XWD all-wheel drive system automatically adapts to different types of road surface due to the presence of different driving modes, the company noted.

The Jetour G900 has an integrated spar frame of composite construction. There are locks for three differentials — front, rear and center-to-center. Details about the timing of the release of the model to the market are not specified.

On April 8, it was reported that the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant would start production of the Omoda C5 and Jetour T2 crossovers, the Russian-built models had already been certified and received the necessary documents.

On January 20, Jetour announced that the T2 crossover in the new flagship version of the Discovery will cost 4.45 million rubles in Russia, excluding special offers. Among other things, it differs in that, together with a two-liter 245-horsepower turbo engine, an 8-speed automatic works instead of a robot, as in other more affordable configurations.
