The Ministry of Finance is considering a possible abandonment of data storage on "Public Services" by 2026. This was announced on April 17 by the head of the department Maksut Shadaev, speaking at the Data Fusion forum.

"By 2026, our goal is to abandon the storage of any data at all on Public Services. This is easier for us because we are building direct query systems in the so-called departmental storefronts. The data is shown there, [and] when the session ends, it breaks, the data is not saved," he said at the event, which was broadcast on the channel ANO "Digital Economy" in VK Video.

The head of the Ministry of Finance noted that the love of large services for the accumulation of user data, although understandable, carries its own risks and dangerous temptations.
