Lavrov to hold talks with Iranian Foreign Minister

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, who will pay a working visit to Moscow on April 17-18. This was announced on April 17 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"On April 17-18, the Iranian Foreign minister will be in Moscow on a working visit. He will hold talks with his Russian counterpart," she said at a briefing.

According to the diplomat, during the meeting, the ministers will discuss topical international and regional issues, including the Iranian nuclear program and the situation in Syria, as well as strengthening coordination in the United Nations and other international platforms.
