The Union State is the most advanced form of integration in the former Soviet Union. This was announced on April 17 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"The Union State is developing systematically and progressively. This is the most advanced form of integration in the former Soviet Union," he said at a briefing.

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation noted that the personnel changes, in which Sergei Glazyev became the new Secretary of State of the Council of State of Russia and Belarus, are the result of a natural rotation process.
