Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Russia on an official visit on April 17. This was reported by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The plane landed at Vnukovo-2 airport.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said yesterday that a wide range of issues, including the situation in Ukraine, would be discussed during the upcoming visit of Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Russia.
