Denis Veryagin, an actor from the "First Department", has died.

Actor and singer Denis Veryagin died at the age of 42. This was announced on April 16 by his ex-wife Oksana Romanova.

"Denis really passed away. This is a great grief for the family and for his daughter," 73online quoted her as saying.

Veryagin was born on March 8, 1983 in Ulyanovsk. After graduating from high school, he entered the Faculty of Culture and Art at Ulyanovsk State University, and in 2003 was accepted into the troupe of the Ulyanovsk Drama Theater named after I. A. Goncharov. The actor starred in the TV series "Five minutes of silence. New Horizons", "The Magnificent Five", "The First Department". Veryagin was also engaged in music: he sang and shot video clips that were broadcast on the Chanson-TV channel.
