Sobyanin spoke about the help of volunteers in organizing events for Victory Day

More than 5,000 volunteers will help organize Victory Day events in Moscow, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
According to him, volunteers will meet veterans at train stations and airports and accompany them to their place of residence. They will also distribute St. George's ribbons at various venues in the city.
Sobyanin also noted that as part of the "Thank you to the Hero" campaign, volunteers will help those who wish to sign greeting cards for veterans and participants of their military operations.
As noted on the portal mos.ru The first Russian training center for the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th Anniversary of Victory was opened in Moscow to train volunteers. Applications for membership were submitted by 12 thousand people. The training includes an online course and face-to-face classes. Before the events, the volunteers also receive additional training.
