All ice crossings have been closed in the Khabarovsk Territory. The latter was equipped in the Verkhnebureinsky district, across the Bureya River, on the 72nd km of the road between the settlements of Shakhtinsky and Chegdomyn.

The owner blocked the exits to the reservoir, dismantled road signs, information boards and signs. This was done in order to limit trips to the ice and prevent accidents, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region told IA AmurMedia.

The rescue service notes that after the closure of the ice crossing, it is life-threatening to travel to the reservoir area. At spontaneous crossings, the risk of people and equipment falling through the ice is high. In addition, this is an administrative offense and entails the imposition of a fine.

Earlier, on April 10, it was reported that a truck had fallen through the ice of the Zeya reservoir in the Amur region. The driver managed to get out of the cab. The incident occurred a few kilometers from the dam. There is no equipped ice crossing on this section, and access to the ice was prohibited.
