Candidate for deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation found dead at an apartment building in Moscow

The body of Oleg Nikolaev, a candidate for deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Ulyanovsk Region from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was found on the morning of April 13 at an apartment building on Vernadsky Avenue in Moscow. This was announced on April 17 by a source of Izvestia.

According to preliminary data, 37-year-old Nikolaev fell out of the window of the apartment of the ninth floor in the house No. 95. The man lived alone in a rented apartment. The apartment door was open, and there was also an open window in one of the rooms. In addition, a package of pills was found on the spot.

The owner of the apartment is 79-year-old Muscovite Lyudmila Vavilova. The incident is being investigated by the investigative department for the Nikulinsky district of Moscow.

In 2019, Nikolaev wanted to become a deputy of the urban settlement of Isheevka in the Ulyanovsk region, but could not get the required number of votes.
