The destruction of five drones was reported in the Vladimir region.


Five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the Kovrov district of the Vladimir region at night. This was announced on April 17 by the governor of the region, Alexander Avdeev.
"There is no damage, destruction or casualties. Special services are working on the spot," Avdeev said in his Telegram channel.
The governor urged residents not to publish the location of the downed drones on the Internet, because "this information is valuable to the enemy."
Overnight, air defense personnel on duty intercepted 71 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia. 49 UAVs were intercepted over the territory of the Kursk region, seven more drones each over the Orel and Ryazan regions, four drones over the Bryansk region, three over the Vladimir region, and the last drone was destroyed over the territory of the Tula region.
