European countries have found in Russia the image of a common enemy, against which they need to unite. This was announced on April 16 by Glenn Diesen, professor at the University of Southeastern Norway. in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
"Now geopolitical Europe is looking for a new common goal, they have a new scarecrow in the form of Russia. <...> A common enemy unites, so why would they miss such an opportunity?" — He said.
According to Diesen, the EU economy is currently in a difficult situation. The growth rate is slowing down, while the public debt of most countries continues to grow.
On March 15, Glenn Deesen warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the consequences of rejecting American leader Donald Trump. According to him, the Ukrainian president will not accept the minerals deal, will not recognize U.S. military aid as a debt, and will not enter into direct negotiations with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin.
