Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that Ukraine had agreed to a complete ceasefire. He made the corresponding statement on April 16 after a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

"Ukraine has agreed to a complete and unconditional cease—fire," the head of state wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Stubb called on the Russian side to make the same decision.

On April 15, Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill to extend martial law and mobilization in the country from May 9 for 90 days.
