The expert spoke about the obstacles for Russians in obtaining an insurance pension

Russians whose salaries have not been paid to the Social Fund of Russia may be left without an insurance pension. Nina Gukasova, director of the program of the RANEPA Federal Methodological Center for Improving Literacy, warned about this.
"The level of official income of employees affects the size of the pension. With official income, the employer pays insurance premiums to the Social Fund of Russia for the employee, and these contributions are taken into account in the future when assigning and calculating a pension,"RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
Thus, if a person does not have an income and salary from which deductions would be made, there is a risk of being left without an insurance pension.
On April 15, the Social Fund informed pensioners about the possibility of adjusting their length of service in Public Services. They noted that if there is no accounting for a certain period of work or if another error is found, Russians need to contact their employers. They, in turn, must correct the information and provide it to the Social Fund.
