Vityaz-Moscow tram was launched in Moscow to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory

To mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Vityaz-Moscow tram was launched on route No. 7 in Moscow. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry, on Wednesday, April 16.

According to him, the tram will run from the Boulevard Rokossovsky metro station to the Belorussky Railway Station," the Moscow City News Agency reports. Liksutov noted that the thematic design of urban transport is a tribute to the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the metro staff who worked during the difficult years.

The tram will run thematically until the end of June.

The Moscow subway also launched a themed train in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. It will run along the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line, RT clarifies. The Rusich-type wagons were decorated in red and beige, and inside they posted congratulations "Happy Great Victory Day!" and "80 years of Victory!", the website writes. kp.ru .

On April 14, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina announced that in April, more than 50 exhibitions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will open in the capital's museums.
