The Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the fire at the enterprise in Kursk

The fire inside the workshop at the Kursk plant was eliminated. This was announced on April 16 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Telegram channel.

"[At] 23:34 (Moscow time), open gorenje was eliminated," the ministry said.

Earlier it was reported that a partial collapse of structures occurred due to a fire in the building.

The cause of the incident is being investigated.

The fire inside the workshop on Aggregate Street in Kursk occurred on April 16. Later, Alexander Khinshtein, the acting governor of the Kursk region, said that structures had collapsed at the site of the fire. However, he added that there is no threat to residential buildings due to the remoteness of the industrial facility.
