The US Armed Forces launched massive airstrikes in Yemen

The US armed Forces have launched massive strikes on areas controlled by the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) in Yemen. This was reported by Al Masirah TV channel on Wednesday, April 16.

It is specified that about 14 strikes hit the Al‑Sabin area in the Yemeni capital Sanaa. The provinces of Saada and Al-Jawf were also hit by airstrikes.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the US attack on a residential area of Sanaa, one person was killed.

Anadolu Agency reported on April 9 that more than 100 civilians have been killed since the beginning of the US attacks on Yemen. It was clarified that at least 223 people were injured.

On March 15, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered the military to begin operations against the Yemeni Houthis. Soon, the central command of the United States Armed Forces announced the launch of a large-scale operation in Yemen.
