Russia will actively develop space cooperation with new countries, including China. This was announced on April 16 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with students of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The Head of State noted that many countries around the world are interested in cooperation with the Russian side in the space sector.

"We have big plans with the People's Republic of China, interesting, good and grandiose, in general with the BRICS countries as a whole: with India, with South Africa, with Brazil. This cooperation will not stop," he said.

At the same time, as the head of state noted, the Russian Federation continues to cooperate with the United States, despite the current difficult situation. The work of the International Space Station (ISS) will continue, Putin stressed.

Dmitry Bakanov, CEO of Roscosmos, said on April 8 that representatives of the corporation and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States (NASA) discussed plans for the development of orbital space after the completion of the International Space Station (ISS) project and plans for the development of the lunar program.
