Poet Konstantin Kedrov died at the age of 83.

Soviet and Russian poet, philosopher and literary critic Konstantin Kedrov has died at the age of 82 after a long illness. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Union of Writers (RSP) on Wednesday, April 16.

"At the age of 83, the poet of the Sixties, philosopher and literary critic passed away after a long illness... Konstantin Kedrov," RT quotes the message.

The funeral service for Kedrov will take place on April 18 at 8:00 a.m. in the church of the Little Ascension. The farewell is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Central House of Writers (CDL), according to the website. kp.ru .

The cremation and burial of the ashes will take place at the Donskoy Cemetery in Moscow, writes Moscow 24.
