In Tatarstan, a fire broke out in the Birch Mane gardening non-profit partnership due to the ignition of dry grass. This was announced on April 16 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"In Tatarstan, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations is extinguishing a fire in a garden association," the agency's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that as a result of the fire, 10 houses were damaged, some of which were not residential. The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that the fire is spreading amid windy weather.

55 people and 13 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. There was no information about the victims.

Earlier that day, 336 people were evacuated from a kindergarten in the Samara region as a result of a fire among reeds and dry vegetation in the Volzhsky district. It is noted that the evacuation from the institution was carried out due to heavy smoke.
