Georgian mercenary Rati Burduli, who fought in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), has been included in the list of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation. This was reported on the Rosfinmonitoring website on April 16.
In August 2024, Rati Burduli illegally invaded the territory of the Kursk region as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He committed crimes against the civilian population in order to cause property damage and destabilize the activities of the authorities.
In October 2024, the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) sentenced Burduli in absentia to 14 years in a penal colony.
He is also on the international wanted list.
On April 10, the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic sentenced Nicholas Cha, a 25-year-old Brazilian citizen, to seven years in prison in absentia for participating in hostilities on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is specified that he fought as part of the international legion in the Kramatorsk area.
