The most popular used cars among Russians are named

By the end of March 2025, the Lada 2107 sedan became the most popular model among used passenger cars in Russia. In early spring, Russians bought 11.8 thousand Vaz sevens. This is stated in the message of the analytical agency Autostat, which was received by Izvestia on April 17.

The Lada 2114 Samara-2 hatchback is on the second line of the rating, with an indicator of 9.7 thousand units last month. Hyundai Solaris, Lada 4x4 / Niva Legend and Kia Rio (8.4 thousand units each) were among the five leaders of the secondary market in March.

Lada 2170 (Priora), Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla, Lada 2190 (Granta) and Lada 2110 rounded out the top ten of the "secondary" cars.

Compared to February, all models turned out to be "in the black", among them only Kia Rio had an increase of less than 10%. Compared to March 2024, only the Vaz seven are showing positive dynamics (+2.7%), while all others have a drop in the range of 4 to 18%, analysts noted.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in March 2025, Russians purchased 448.3 thousand used passenger cars. This is 12.9% more than a month earlier, but 10.7% less than the result of March last year.

On April 15, it became known that the average price of a used car in the first three months of 2025 in Russia decreased by 2.5% to 1.3 million rubles. At the same time, sales of used cars decreased by 12% during this period.
