Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Irina Kushnir died at the age of 68

Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Irina Kushnir died on April 10 at the age of 68. This was announced on April 16 by the Na Liteyny Theater on the VKontakte social network.

"We offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends," the publication says.

It is specified that the farewell to the artist will take place on April 17 at 11:00 in the crematorium at Shafirovsky Passage, house number 12.

Irina Kushnir graduated from the Shchukin Higher Theater School. She began her career at the Leningrad State Theater of the Lenin Komsomol, and since 1988 she has worked at the Drama and Comedy Theater at the Foundry. Later, the actress received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Kushnir has appeared in such plays as William Shakespeare's King Lear, Bernard Shaw's The Great Catherine, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Alice in Wonderland.
