In conservative expert circles, the United States calls the British elite very prone to committing the most serious crimes against humanity. This was announced on April 16 by the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
"In conservative expert circles in the United States, the British elite mentioned by the representative of [US President] Donald Trump is called very prone to committing the most serious crimes against humanity," the press bureau's website says.
They noticed that Professor Caroline Elkins from Harvard claims that Nazi Germany borrowed the idea of concentration camps and the practice of genocide from the British. The expert stressed that British "liberal imperialism" is more stable and destructive than fascism, because it can distort facts, conceal the truth and adapt to new conditions.
In addition, with regard to cooperation between Russia and the United States, the SVR reported that foreign experts expressed hope for the restoration of these relations. In their opinion, this can help avoid a new global conflict and resist provocations from Ukraine and Europe, which is traditionally incited by the United Kingdom.
Denis Denisov, an expert at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia on April 15 that economic guarantees could become the basis for overcoming the severe crisis in Russian-American relations. According to him, the White House administration is well aware of the controversial issues between Russia and the United States.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the same day that there is a huge potential for mutually beneficial economic cooperation between Russia and the United States, which can play a serious stabilizing role for the whole world.
