A Ukrainian drone dropped an explosive device on a car near a gas station in the city of Rylsk, Kursk region. This was announced on April 16 by Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein.
"Today in Rylsk, an enemy drone dropped an explosive device on a car near a gas station. As a result of the attack, the car burned down. The Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the fire," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Khinstein clarified that no one was injured as a result of the Ukrainian attack. He also urged residents of the region to be attentive and observe security measures.
On April 15, it was reported about a massive attack by Ukrainian drones in the Kursk region. As a result of the strikes, several houses caught fire. An 85-year-old woman was also killed, and nine civilians were injured. The fire damaged two multi-storey buildings and three private households. One of the shells hit the ambulance garage, as a result, 11 official vehicles were damaged.
A criminal case on a terrorist act was opened on the fact of a massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on residential buildings in Kursk (paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
