The Path to Victory exhibition opened in the main building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow

An exhibition of works by the V.V. Vereshchagin Studio of Artists of the Cultural Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Path to Victory" has opened in the main building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow. This was reported by MIA Media on April 16.

The exhibition features 33 works created in 2024 and 2025, which tell about the difficult path to the Great Victory. The subjects of the paintings are dedicated to the contribution of the NKVD of the USSR to the victory and demonstrate the activities of the internal affairs bodies in different periods of the Great Patriotic War.

The opening ceremony was attended by Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Kubyshko, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of Police, Irina Volk, official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, as well as heads of departments of the central office of the department.

"We hold such exhibitions regularly, and they are dedicated to different dates in the history of our country. It is gratifying that when our employees come to work, they can get acquainted with such a wonderful exhibition dedicated to the Great Victory, and thanks to such an exhibition, they will never forget the feat of our predecessors and their contribution to the victory of our country," said Volk.

After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with the leadership of the departments of the central office and territorial bodies of the Ministry. Representatives of the regions took part in the event in a video conference format.

It is specified that the exhibition will run until May 16.

The event is dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War and will be the largest ever held.

On April 15, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina announced that in April, more than 50 exhibitions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will open in the capital's museums. All exhibitions will be dedicated to the courage and steadfastness of the defenders of the country.
