The Investigative Committee began checking on the fall of power transmission poles in Korsakov

In Korsakov (Sakhalin region), a check has been organized on the fact of the fall of the supporting pillars of the power transmission line. This is reported by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to SakhalinMedia news agency, the incident occurred on Matrosova Street. Two poles fell on the roadway.

"All the circumstances of the incident are being established. Based on the results of the inspection, an assessment will be given to the actions of those responsible for the maintenance of power transmission lines," the UK said in a statement.

Also, based on the results of the pre-investigation check, a decision will be made to institute a criminal case.

On April 14, it was reported that a section of the Nevelsk—Tomari— Shakhtersk airport road collapsed in the Sakhalin Region. The incident occurred on the 143rd km of the highway, at the location of the culvert.
