- Rosneft held a car rally in the Krasnoyarsk Territory dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory

The RN-Vankor company (a mining asset of Rosneft) organized a car rally in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
According to the Rosneft press service, the route of the rally passed through the key facilities of the Vostok Oil project. The vehicles with the Victory Banner covered a distance of more than a thousand kilometers — from the Vankor field to the port of Sever Bay on the shore of the Kara Sea.
One of the points of the route was the village of Dikson, the northernmost settlement in Russia. There were battles here during the Great Patriotic War — in August 1942, one of the northernmost battles unfolded in the Kara Sea.
The participants of the event stopped at production facilities, where they shared with colleagues memories of their relatives, participants of the Great Patriotic War, and honored their memory with a minute of silence. In the port of Sever Bay, oil workers laid flowers at the Memorial in honor of the 80th anniversary of the defense of Dickson in memory of the heroism of the Soviet soldiers from the North Sea.
