In the Samara region, 336 people were evacuated from a kindergarten as a result of a fire among reeds and dry vegetation in the Volzhsky district. This was announced on April 16 in the press service of the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the region.

It is noted that the evacuation from the institution was carried out due to heavy smoke.

"Due to heavy smoke, 336 people were evacuated from a kindergarten located nearby," the department's Telegram channel said.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations also said that the fire was localized on an area of 0.45 hectares, and 70 employees and 26 pieces of equipment are working on site. There was no information about the victims.

Earlier in the day, a state of emergency was introduced in the Tandinsky district of the Republic of Tyva due to a large-scale forest fire. According to the authorities, the fire engulfed an area with a total area of 354 g near the settlements of Kyzyl-Aryg, Aryg-Bazhy and Soy. Rescue and fire services are working at the site.
