There are various workarounds that illegal dietary supplement dealers use when making a sale. Marketing expert Yulia Ignatenko told Izvestia about this on April 16.

According to her, marketplaces are in control, but currently there are companies that provide fake certificates to merchants under the guise of official ones. Often, as she noted, they issue a document without checking the products. Ignatenko also noted the second method, according to which novice sellers copy other people's certificates and numbers and upload them to their products.

"First of all, this is a global problem for all girls, everyone wants to lose weight all the time. Even those who absolutely do not need it. Plus, a thin, beautiful, athletic body is being popularized. Bloggers are constantly promoting such drugs. They buy advertising from them, after that the girls are <...>, go to marketplaces, buy. In this regard, the popularity of drugs is growing," the marketer added.

She also clarified that reviews on marketplaces are a separate business. According to her, there are companies and channels on the Internet that are collected by people who are ready to write positive reviews on products. She added that the relevant system, in particular, involves mothers on maternity leave, who subsequently receive money for both products and reviews.

Ignatenko emphasized that in this way a large number of negative reviews are overlaid by a huge number of fake positive comments. According to her, it is difficult to remove reviews of any kind from marketplaces.

Earlier, as part of a laboratory study conducted by Izvestia, it was revealed that the "Molecule" weight loss drug contains the potent narcotic substance sibutramine. It is specified that criminal liability is threatened for its distribution. Later, Rospotrebnadzor requested documents on the detection of sibutramine in popular weight loss products — "Molecule" and "Molecule plus".

Later, narcologist Alexander Kovtun told Izvestia about the effect on the body of the powerful narcotic substance sibutramine, which was found in the "Molecule". According to him, in the course of clinical trials, it was revealed that the drug has the ability to reduce appetite.
