Nabiullina stated the need to create conditions for a platform economy

In Russia, it is necessary to create conditions for the development of a platform economy. This was announced on April 16 by the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina.
"We must create conditions for the development of the platform economy," she said during a speech at the fifth annual Data Fusion forum.
The head of the Central Bank clarified that at this stage a very balanced regulation is needed in the Russian economy.
According to Nabiullina, the task is not to limit innovation, but to create conditions for fair competition, transparent rules for customers, and consumer protection providers. She clarified that this contributes to the creation of a trusted environment, which is the platform.
"These are the conditions for development," concluded the head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
On February 20, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation submitted to the government a bill "On the platform Economy." It focuses on regulating the operation of intermediary digital platforms that allow you to simultaneously place offers for the sale of goods or services, conclude transactions and make payments.
