On April 16, the Russian Consulate General denied information about the emergency relocation of more than 300 Russian tourists from a hotel in Hurghada, Egypt.

As Russian Vice Consul Nikita Shilin noted, when the Russians checked into the hotel, there were problems with electricity, and some of the tourists did not like the buffet food.

"There was no emergency relocation. <...> After receiving complaints, everyone was given the opportunity to change their place of residence," Shilin said, according to TASS.

Earlier, the Network reported that more than 300 tourists from Russia were urgently relocated from a hotel in Hurghada due to unsanitary conditions and lack of electricity.

As the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) informed Izvestia on April 16, the organization is in touch with tourists and is taking measures to resolve the problems that have arisen.
