A court in Chelyabinsk arrested a man in the case of the attempted murder of a teenager.

A court in the Metallurgichesky district of Chelyabinsk has arrested a suspect in the attempted murder of a teenager. This was reported to Izvestia on April 16 by the court's press service.

"The accused did not admit guilt at the hearing, because he believed that there were no murderous intentions in his actions. At the same time, he did not express any motives for committing the crime," said Anton Anisimov, senior assistant prosecutor of the Metallurgichesky district.

It is specified that the criminal moonlights as a loader and lives in a hotel. According to him, he confused a teenager with a tree.

During the meeting, the court decided to arrest the criminal for 2 months until June 15. Based on the results of the preliminary investigation, the criminal case will be sent to the district prosecutor's office.

On April 15, the man who rescued the teenager in Chelyabinsk told Izvestia the details of the incident. According to him, an unknown adult attacked a child with a knife and inflicted multiple wounds on him.
