The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) is checking information about the relocation of more than 300 Russian tourists in Hurghada, Egypt. This was reported to Izvestia on April 16 by the organization's press service.

According to the complaints received, tourists are being relocated from hotels where complaints about living conditions have been recorded. ATOR noted that "all the circumstances of the situation are being clarified."

"Tour operators are in touch with tourists and with partners on the receiving side. Measures are being taken to resolve the problems that have arisen," the association stressed.

Earlier, on March 27, a bathyscaphe crashed in Hurghada. There were 45 Russian citizens on board, six of whom, including two children, died. Later, the father of the girl who was injured in the crash of a bathyscaphe in Egypt announced her death. The company that organized the tour, Sharm Hurghada Excursions, told Izvestia that the bathyscaphe had been in operation for about 10 years.
