The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan has opened a criminal case into the mass poisoning of cafe patrons in Almetyevsk. This was announced on April 16 by the press service of the department for the region.
The reason for the investigation was the intestinal infection of 14 people, including four minors. All of them visited the cafe, which opened on April 11, from April 12 to April 14.
"According to preliminary data, the visitors consumed rolls, after which they felt unwell and went to an infectious diseases hospital," the department's Telegram channel clarified.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements. The investigation establishes all the circumstances of the incident.
On March 26, eight teenagers from the Voronezh Football Club were admitted to the Stavropol Infectious Diseases Hospital. They arrived at a children's football tournament in Stavropol, dedicated to the memory of Vladislav Dukhin. On the same day, the Investigative Committee for the Stavropol Territory opened a criminal case on the poisoning of children.
