Overnight, on-duty air defense systems intercepted 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia. This was announced on Wednesday, April 16, by the Ministry of Defense.

"During the past night, 26 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
