More than 20 Palestinians have died as a result of Israeli strikes on Gaza.


At least 23 people have been killed in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israeli airstrikes. This was reported on Wednesday, April 16, by the Al Jazeera television company, citing doctors.
"At least 23 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Tuesday, and reports of new attacks and casualties continue to be received," the publication says.
According to Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), nine people were injured and one died as a result of an attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on a field hospital in the southern Gaza Strip.
On April 15, the Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah reported, citing the Gaza Ministry of Health, that more than 51,000 people had been killed in the enclave since the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began. In addition, over 116,000 residents of the Gaza Strip were injured.
