Military engineers of the Zapad group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with a kamikaze robot in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on Wednesday, April 16, by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"I decided to make it so that robots could remove strongholds. It all started with the knee: welding, grinder, profile pieces. They began to collect and invent something. We looked there and there, and somehow we improved something, and it turned out," said the commander of the combat group with the call sign Batya.

It is specified that the hard-to-reach stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered during reconnaissance. Before using the ground robot, the military set up communications, increased the power reserve due to additional batteries, and also conducted testing.

After that, the calculation brought the kamikaze robot to the target. He penetrated the enemy's dugout and carried out a controlled detonation of a TM-62 anti-tank mine, destroying enemy personnel.

Earlier, on April 13, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculations of the 152-millimeter Msta-B cannon of the 18th combined arms army from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the control center for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region.
