A court in Vladivostok found the bus driver guilty, who caused the death of a motorcyclist. This was announced on Wednesday, April 16, by the press service of the Primorye Prosecutor's office.

"The court found that on the evening of September 11, 2024, in the area of the house on Admiral Yumashev Street in Vladivostok, the convict, driving a bus carrying passengers on a regular route, violated traffic rules and collided with a motorcyclist," the Telegram channel said.

The motorcyclist injured in the accident died in hospital.

The court sentenced the bus driver to imprisonment for a term of two years and six months, with the deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving for two years.

On April 15, two people died in an accident in Novorossiysk. The accident occurred on the morning of April 15 at the intersection of Anapa highway and Shiller Street. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, the driver of the VAZ-2104 collided with a Mercedes car during a turn. The driver and passenger of the domestic passenger car died on the spot.
