The doctor named the acceptable norm of eating eggs and kulich on Easter

During the Easter holidays it is advisable to eat no more than three eggs and 150 g of kulich per day, endocrinologist, nutritionist of the family clinic "RZD-Medicine" Dzhaneta Borlakova told "Izvestia".
It is desirable to plan the holiday menu in advance and control portions, the doctor pointed out. Easter baked goods, she said, are high in sugars and saturated fats.
"Kulichi is quite a heavy product for our digestive system, so after observing Lent, you should not eat them immediately in large quantities," Borlakova noted.
People with chronic GI diseases should be especially careful when eating Easter baked goods, the doctor reminded.
The doctor recommended including more vegetables, fruits and lean proteins such as chicken or fish in the diet. You should also drink plenty of water and do not forget about physical activity after meals - this will improve digestion and help to avoid overeating.
